Today we averaged 7.4 MPG on the big truck:) No warnings, buzzers, or anything today, so she behaved herself well:)

We covered 560 miles of mostly backroads today in Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. Nice rolling hills, blue skies, and tons of wildflowers along the roads.

We make our delivery tomorrow morning, then we already have our next two trips lined up…Enjoy your weekend!

We are rolling North on the Indian Nation Turnpike here in Oklahoma. It was a nice drive through the backroads of Texas, and now we are making our way up through Oklahoma and will hang a right soon as we head up US Highway 69 in McAlester.

We need coffee, then we will roll along Farm to Market road 14 to get to our shipper in Hawkins, Texas. I hope it is a quick load since we have a full day of backroads driving to do. This place must be new since it does not show up in Google Maps, or my GPS!

Welcome to Tyler, Texas, home to the Tyler Roses!

I will draw the map here in a few minutes. We are done for today after having made a delivery this morning, then got the trailer washed out. Our pickup is just down the highway a bit and we will get loaded early in the morning before heading to Missouri.

This sure is a nice time of year finally seeing color in the grassy fields along the interstate! Bright yellow, pinks, and reds!

Ok, relax and enjoy your weekend. Be back on the dash tomorrow for a full day of backroad driving!

YES! We got stuff to do now!

We have a short local run to do today, but we should be able to drop it. Then we have our next load that picks up tomorrow morning and we get to roll on around like we used to, remember those days? lol No map drawn yet, but I did update the trip info text.

I figure we will go ahead and pick up that load in our yard, go get fuel for it if needed (deliveries won’t let you drop without a full tank on trailer), and then talk them into letting us drop it. This way, we can get a headstart and get the empty trailer washed out then head up to the be in position for the next shipper:)

Well, the truck has behaved for 12 hours already! HA! We are on the board for a trip this morning, so hopefully we will get one quickly.

I added a preview image to the LIVE Video Feed on the sidebar. If you click the play button on it, you can watch (if ya squint your eyes lol), but you can also HEAR the audio while you browse the rest of the website if you like.

I found several people alive in dispatch, seems they have alot going on, you know, getting ready for the weekend shift. LOL

We in fact, do not have a trip, so we are waiting for the planners to find us something to do…..at this point, I would say something tomorrow….
