Welcome to Amarillo, Texas. We will go ahead and stop here for the night since we already did 400 miles and almost all of it was the backroads and slowing down for every little town! HA!
Tomorrow our goal is Flagstaff, Arizona, exactly 600 miles away, so if you didn’t eat all your snacks ya brought along today, you can eat em tomorrow! 
It was a good run through Northern Texas and I can tell those small towns sure have been building up. We even got to see a local truckstop kitty saying HI to us in Wichita Falls, Texas:) Lucky for me I did not grab it and stick it in my bag. LOL
See ya’ll in the morning for an “all interstate” run through Tucumcari, The ghost town of Cuervo, Santa Rosa, and Grants……all in the state of New Mexico:)
