I called Chinese Imperial Restaurant and asked if they deliver to the building that I am parked directly in front of, about 1.2 miles away from them. She said yes. Then she paused and asked if I was a truck driver. I said yes, but they could deliver to the building and I would be on the steps waiting for them to arrive. The lady told me “Sir, we do not support truckers”, then hung up the phone!
The place that did this and who does NOT support truck drivers is:

UPDATE: I just called Pizza Hut, and they said “No Problem”, we do that all the time, we will be right there with your order:)
I now have a total of 41 new videos that I am working hard right now to upload to YouTube. 20 or so of those are of the 200 mile drive today on the Backroads of Virginia. The sun was just right behind us, the trees were really gree with wildflowers here and there. Very beautiful drive……just to have to sit here on a dirt shoulder looking at junk tires and weeds LOL
Ok, I am eating my sandwich and uploading and editing videos and panoramas!

Well, looks like we will have to wait until tomorrow to make our delivery. Since the closest truckstop is more than 60 miles away, I am not authorized to leave. Yup, that means we sit on the side of the road outside the gate to the delivery until morning. Man, wish I had a coffee maker! LOL There is not even anything within walking distance to eat. Good thing I have my emergency winter canned foods:)
So, hang out and watch the traffic for the rest of the day. Maybe I will call and see if somebody can delivery food out here.
Well, we loaded up and drive straight here without stopping expect 5 minutes for a cup of coffee.
The original delivery was to take place at 2PM tomorrow. Then it got changed to 2PM today. I arrived at 130PM today, and was turned away because the delivery folks said my appointment time was set for 1130AM TODAY! Now what exactly happened here? I did all I could, and, what happens? WE get to sit until tomorrow and “they will try to fit us in”……
HA! I am so aggravated I could pinch TK’s nose. Or pin her ears together with a clothespin! HA! HA!
Um, rugged start this morning as we had to back into a tight dock at the end of a mini-circle! Why places that are huge with tons of room to sprawl around with landscaping, don’t give us truckers just another 5 feet to manuver! Sometimes, a simple 5 extra feet of pavement to turn the wheels would make ALL the difference! Well, we did it without smashing into anybody. The thing that irks me is right beside me is another Central driver, with a co-driver, and they did not, would not, even help look out for me. When I did get backed in, they both looked at me like I was “new”. Oh well, they must be owner-operators! HA!
I have in my hands, three of the freshest, best tasting Dunkin Donuts ever!
Let’s get rolling before traffic starts building on us. We load up as soon as we get there:)
