Let’s hit the road and do some driving today! These people sure are taking their sweet time to load us! Glad I showed up 4 hours early! Woohoo, we are in a door about 4 hours early, and they said they will start working on my load shortly. This will be a fast paced, quick delivery, so lots of driving to make back up! We will drive some after loading, then finish up tomorrow.
Ok, we are in place for our pickup just down the street. First, let me get a cup of GOOD coffee! Then sweep out the trailer, then maybe they will load us early…. Well, Ihave made several drives through our terminal here, and there seems to be a shortage of usable empty trailers! Alot of the trailers I find are either loaded and waiting for a driver (not me) or, they are red tagged as SOLD, or they are down for repairs. Gee, mabye they need to not sell so many if it leaves us short!? Keep an eye out for an empty trailer. If ya spot one, let me know! Well, we gave the truck a test last night, and it seems to be behaving properly for the time being. At some point, we will need to come back so they can do the Air Conditioning recall work …. As soon as we find an empty trailer, we can actually get out of this terminal! Our new trip is now posted, but does not pickup until tomorrow at 6PM. This is all they have for now, but anything can happen between now and then! The Eagle was just released back to us! Let’s move back into it:) Well, I am stepping out in faith and taking our next trip. The trip does not pick up until tomorrow at 6PM, but it will take us down a road that in the six years I have been driving, we have only been down ONCE before. The US Highway used to be called US666…….but has now been changed. It goes right by Arches National Park, Moab, Shiprock, and a few other very desolate highways! Want an example? Check out this gallery I made years ago. This trip through, we will cover as much as possible in HD Videos! It will be the only way I can share with you because I highly doubt there will be any signal out in the farthest stretches of open space. |
