Ya’ll get to watch every truck that comes in here to fuel up. I added a few new buttons so you can make your comments fancier. LOL While you cannot upload an image to the comments, you CAN still post it as long as it is somewhere else such as your own website or photo sharing website such as Flicker, Blogger, etc. Just copy the URL of the image and you are set to go:) Well now, the trailer and driver we were waiting for to bring us his trailer to go to Denver with has brokedown in Iowa! Now, we have a new trip with tons more miles, and um, ACK…… California, with a stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico! This new load will not be ready until tomorrow afternoon, so I guess that means we will leave the Wal-Mart parking lot and head to the truckstop for the night, then head the 82 miles over to pickup in Schuyler. Hey, since we are bobtail, let’s shop at Wal-Mart and get some food and things:) WooHoo! Been awhile since we were able to stop and shop. What do ya’ll need for the road? We dropped our loaded trailer in the customers doors, and went looking for our next trailer which is supposed to be right here waiting on us……..supposed to be. I am updating the next trip right now and it begins the minute we find out where our trailer is hiding! —UPDATE– Ok, the trailer has been tracked down and it is still on its way and is currently in Iowa! I thought it was loaded HERE, but nope, it is a trailer swap with a driver….. Still 5 hours or more away, so we will go to the truckstop and hangout for awhile. I keep smelling onion rings from here! Since they smell soooo very good, I might have to get some now lol Allergies are running amuck this morning! Storm clouds are whirling all around us as I look out the windshield, so I suspect we will run into some rain possibly before we deliver this afternoon. Ever have a dream that seemed so real to you? Well, I dreamed I had to go to Australia by morning! Now that I woke up, I am bummed! LOL Get up and get some coffee, then let’s hit the highway before rush hour starts building! |
