This is one of the few places in North Dakota for a truckstop since it is many miles in between cities!
On the Eastern edge of town, you will always find this truckstop pretty packed. The coffee is good with tons of creamers. Want to shop a little? Lots of local souvenirs in stock as well as jackets, leather goods, truck supplies, etc. They were lacking in the hot food section though with virtually nothing on the racks. Guess I got there too late!
I toook a shower there, and it only cost $5.00, not the usual $12 at the chain truckstops. The shower was clean, but it had broken knobs and looked like it sure could use an update or remodel.
Overall, not too bad of a place. Very friendly folks and cashiers.

We have gone as far as we can go tonight. Plover is just about 40 miles south of here, but we only had 20 minutes left to drive today! That ain’t gonna work for us, so we will camp out here. Boy, this place sure does not look like a happening place at all. In fact, it pretty much looks closed down to me. The big sign has all the bulbs broken or missing and looks like it has not been used in years!
The one good thing about this place is I see tons of food nearby, including a Texas Roadhouse!  HHmmm, might have to go check it out:)
We have been rolling through some pretty nice weather in Minnesota and Wisconsin today!
We are about to get off the interstates and hit the back highways to take a shortcut to Plover. We will not make it all the way tonight, so we will have to stop just short and finish up very early in the morning.
We already have our next two trips set up, and that will keep us busy until June 8th!
Because of the continued problems with me being able to stay logged into Veetle, and now Facebook being required….or at least the emails are telling me that is what my viewers feel and are being prompted to do…. the embed has been removed.
I cannot stay logged in and I never know what GUEST number I will be. The only solution to the live feed problems is to go to Veetle.com then look under MOBILE cams, then look for me driving! I apologize I cannot offer a better solution at this time. I have to DRIVE, and I can no longer afford to keep pulling over to log in and double check if my Feed is working correctly.
We get to roll all the way through Minnesota this morning. Glad it is a Saturday so that traffic will be lighter:)
The sun is just creeping up over the horizon, so that means time to get coffee and hit the highway Eastbound….bring your sunglasses – it’s gonna be bright!
Let’s try for a full 600 miles today so we will not have to wake up so early tomorrow, ok? LOL
I have been uploading the videos to YouTube lately….and it sure is strange that several of them have “copyright issues” filed against my videos because of music. Now let’s see…..none of these videos I uploaded yesterday have music! If they want to count me singing a few words a copyright infrigement, then there is a problem somewhere else. LOL Come on YouTube, get real and stop telling me my videos have copyrighted music in them when all I hear is road noise and me talking!! Not even the radio is playing!
