We are going to go ahead and stop here for the night. Not many options past here and the short amount of drivetime we have left. We can wake up early in the morning and get a good full day in…..remember, we had to use some time today to get loaded:) Tomorrow will be a little bit more of Montana mountain driving, then hills, then all flatland from there on out. Trust me, North Dakota will be pretty flat! LOL
We are loaded and ready to roll through Idaho and drop down into Montana.
As we go through the mountains just East of here, the live feed will be very poor, so the snowman cam will be oyur friend when he can:)
We will pass places such as 4th of July Pass, Rose Lake, and Centennial Bridge!
BTW, what in the world is this on our windshield? A yellow BIG mosquito???

Ok, time to get up! Find the coffee pot and grab some to go!
We get to go playing on the backroads to try and find this place……..
When TK was on the truck with me, and I snuck her into the hotels (at least until she pulled fire alarms and caused a ruckus by sticking her arm under the door hoping to trip people in the hallway all the time), she would always tell me not to go into the bathroom because she was washing her hair. I never believed her since cats hate water on them……right?……RIGHT??…..
We have arrived in Moses Lake, Washington where we will get loaded first thing in the morning.
Looks like we are in “The largest Potato Producing County in the world”…according to the sign as we rolled in here. Anybody wanna take a guess what we might be hauling outta here? LOL
So, hang out, relax, and get ready for a long ride through Montana tomorrow after we get loaded!
We have our next trip and we will run through Montana and North Dakota!
We do not actually load until tomorrow morning, but we will leave here shortly to get to Moses Lake, Washington to get closer. Once we do get loaded, it will be three days of almost 600 miles a day and lots of mountain driving through Montana!
Somewhere along the way we will need to find a trailer washout place so we can get loaded using a nice clean, freshly scrubbed trailer.
We are just waiting for the planners to find us a trip. Someplace to go.
I had a good few days off, it sure was nice to get out and hike and explore, and just plain bum around with a friend that you can be yourself around. Jon is not as crazy as I am, but he just rolls along with the fun. He told me it was funny watching me drive around. Why?
He said that driving the car, I made wide turns, started to stop at stop signs way before anybody else would, clung to the left side of the lanes, etc. …..and the biggest clue I am used to driving a truck? I stayed right at 62 instead of the 70mph! LOL
Yup, I suppose habits and perceptions I have from driving a truck would follow me to driving a car since I don’t rent a car except once or twice a year!
I rented a 2013 Dodge Avenger from Budget Rent A Car this weekend. It is a nice color red and handles very nicely. It has no problem getting up and going when you mash the accelerator! When Jon and I got in and out of it several times bumming around various places, all the doors and trunk shuts with a very solid sound. There was no wind noises at all when driving at highway speeds.
The interior has a nice sun roof with two positions; fully open to sunburn your head, or tilted open in the back for airflow. Nice. Good fabric seats and highend plastic on the door panels.
Overall, I like this vehicle and not having checked out any customer satisfaction ratings (you can do that yourself), I am very pleased with what I experienced with this rental. The all important question: Would I buy this vehicle if I was in the market for a new car? I would certainly consider it!.

I am just hanging out today. I might go visit the Cataldo Mission for one last photography shoot. It also has been crossing my mind to go back to Wolf Lodge Bay and Mineral Ridge in Coeur d’Alene to see if I can capture any Bald Eagles flying around…… I never know where I will end up. LOL
