Welcome to Tyler, Texas, home to the Tyler Roses!
I will draw the map here in a few minutes. We are done for today after having made a delivery this morning, then got the trailer washed out. Our pickup is just down the highway a bit and we will get loaded early in the morning before heading to Missouri.
This sure is a nice time of year finally seeing color in the grassy fields along the interstate! Bright yellow, pinks, and reds!
Ok, relax and enjoy your weekend. Be back on the dash tomorrow for a full day of backroad driving!

YES! We got stuff to do now!
We have a short local run to do today, but we should be able to drop it. Then we have our next load that picks up tomorrow morning and we get to roll on around like we used to, remember those days? lol No map drawn yet, but I did update the trip info text.
I figure we will go ahead and pick up that load in our yard, go get fuel for it if needed (deliveries won’t let you drop without a full tank on trailer), and then talk them into letting us drop it. This way, we can get a headstart and get the empty trailer washed out then head up to the be in position for the next shipper:)
Gooooooood Morning, Road Crew!
Well, the truck has behaved for 12 hours already! HA! We are on the board for a trip this morning, so hopefully we will get one quickly.
I added a preview image to the LIVE Video Feed on the sidebar. If you click the play button on it, you can watch (if ya squint your eyes lol), but you can also HEAR the audio while you browse the rest of the website if you like.
I found several people alive in dispatch, seems they have alot going on, you know, getting ready for the weekend shift. LOL
We in fact, do not have a trip, so we are waiting for the planners to find us something to do…..at this point, I would say something tomorrow….
Here is a direct sceenshot of what the folks on the LIVE Video feed are currently watching….

Well, we got the truck back, and our next trip was waiting for us – but when I ask what trailer it is, I get told we are not on a trip. All my info says we ARE, but since my manager is on vacation, well, I am trying to get to the bottom of what is going on NOW LOL. This week has just been one trouble after another……
As soon as I find out where we are going, or if we even have a trip to do, I will let ya’ll know. Somebody, somewhere should know what is going on – ya would think???
We got the truck back:) Let’s hope it is fixed this time…..
Welcome back to the Peterbilt Dealer in Dallas! They say they can fit me “right in”….
I am now the Mayor of Peterbilt in Dallas! Huh? The check-in program I use, 4Square, (check-in info on the left side), the person who checks in the most gets to be “Mayor”….LOL I have been here more than anybody else lately! Not really what I wanted to be Mayor of, but hey, I get to do free laundry and showers here, so what the heck
The tornadoes are back in North Texas….
As soon as the dealer tells me what they find this time, I will pass it on.
well, here is the latest update, 15 tornadoes around this area last night!

Home Sweet Home! 7-11 in Irving! LOL
Here again for the night so we can go back to the dealer once again and see if they can fix my headlights and turn signals.
We loaded up a trailer in Fort Worth, then dragged it back to the terminal in Irving so another driver can take it to delivery in Oklahoma.
Take a nap, we will next roll to the dealer. AArrgh
Well, we spent two days at the Peterbilt dealer in Irving for headlight and turn signal shorting and going out…… Things worked fine until this first trip across the metroplex. We are losing our headlights and turn signals again, so that means we will go ahead and load this trailer, but take it back to the Irving yard, then tomorrow go back to the dealer to see if they can “look closer” for a fix.
Ho Hum, this week I am not making a dime at all!
UPDATE: The shop folks do not want me to go back to the dealer until the headlights actually go completely out!!! HUH? So, I am trying to make them understand more, but who knows what we will end up doing at this point. I am so frustrated at several things right now. Perhaps just drive during the day, and if we get pulled into an inspection, tell the DOT officer I was not allowed to get things fixed?? I can’t do that since it would cost me major points and money!
